Big Smiles!

Face Paint

Getting Olivia's face painted is like pony rides...whenever there are ponies- we must ride...when ever there is face painting...she must be painted!

One of a kind rainbow flower per her request!

Visiting Tiger Walk

We were able to hang out with Jason for a bit while we watched the football team enter Jordan Hare Stadium. War Eagle!

Aubie (the mascot) is very hard to get a picture with and my very polite daughter is here saying softly "Aubie?, Aubie?" but he moved too quick for her. By the way- she LOVES Aubie!

Because Aubie was not available for a photo with Olivia, we did the next best thing....got her picture taken with the Geco! As you can see...she is a fan of ANY mascot...whom ever will pay her the attention she deserves!!!

Here she is waving at Aubie!

Blue Ribbon Rangers Celebrate 65 Years

This is a great article about the Blue Ribbon Rangers and also about the "Buchman Years" Unfortunately, I can't get it large enough to read...but it was a nice article!

Olivia got to sit on the Parade Float with the "big" kids from the 4-H Club ~ Blue Ribbon Rangers!

2010 Bill Buchman Showmanship Sweepstakes

This year, Olivia and I, with Daniele and Maddox presented the Reserve Champion and Grand Champion winner for the Bill Buchman Showmanship Sweepstakes. Olivia was excited to give them a trophy but they actually receive plaques and a folding chair...but nonetheless it was an honor to be there to give each of the participants an EE Savings Bond as well!
Olivia made a new friend with Denny Asmus, whom she immediately thought looked like Papa Bill. Since we were at the fair for about 6 out of the 7 days...she got to hang out with him a fair amount of time! Very exciting!

These are all of the Participants!

This is us waiting to find out who won the big awards!

This is the reserve champion!

This is the champion! (notice how I am not smiling but my kid is smiling so great! Uggg)

High upon her thrown!

You know when your little princess is growing up ~ when she can climb into her car seat and buckle herself in all by herself. It is a good thing too, because in Alabama - she can't be in a booster seat until she is 6 and in Ohio, she has to be 4 and 40 pounds, which she isn't yet...so technically she is still our little girl. Fortunately, she doesn't mind a car seat and she can see the world outside even better from high upon her throne!

Little Fish

Olivia loved her swim lessons this summer, in Ohio. She went for two weeks and we both had alot of fun! She was the youngest and one of the smallest! She learned to float, kick, blow bubbles, play games and of course, what swim lesson would not be complete with out jumping off the diving board! She loved every minute! We are looking foward to continueing her lessons here in Alabama at the Gym, so next year she will be an even better swimmer!
