Easter Day 2009

On Easter Sunday, we woke to an Easter basket that the Easter Bunny left for Olivia James Hill. Olivia has told us that the Easter Bunny came into the house while she was sleeping, left the basket and disappeared! She got a little fishing pole, a kite, a book, watercolor paints, a new pair of pokadotted rubber boots, a jump rope (or a jumparope per Olivia) some candy and some money hidden in eggs! That night we went to the Sacramento Kings last home game and there is a video of her playing with Jason down by his office...which is more fun than the games. We hope everyone had a nice holiday and are looking forward to the nice Spring weather!

Visit with Mima Hill

Olivia rode rides with all of us but this horse ride was with Mima Hill.

FunderPark

Here is a place that parents with small children can appreciate. At William Land Park in Sacramento, California, there are 4 or 5 incredible things to do all within walking distance for children from about 2 to 5 or 6. Jason and I discovered it when when we went to the Sacramento Zoo (desination #1) a small but cute Zoo that you can go to every other week and spend about an hour and see just about everything. Then we found FairyTale Town (destination #2) which Olivia loves any day of the week and is the best outdoor activity ever! It is such a cute place. There is also a huge park for picnics and then there are the PONIES (destination #3) this is where Olivia is the happiest...with the ponies- the real ones of course. Finally we have discovered the cutiest little amusement park for toddlers that you ever did see!! So check out the fun we had when Jason's mom was here to visit...too cute!
